Job Title: Health Care Assistant

Main Responsibilities: As a Care Assistant in the home you will be working closely with the Staff Nurse in charge, assisting with the day to day clinical care of the residents at ‘The Cottage’. Applicants will be required to aid residents with dressing, toileting,
bathing, feeding and mobilisation if needed and the promotion of mental and physical activities. It is the role of the Care Assistant to change bedding and maintain the cleanliness of the resident’s bedroom. Training will be given on a regular basis with the
option of completing an NVQ if it is thought suitable, you will also be required to take an active part in staff meetings.

Applicant Profile: Applicants must be enthusiastic and able to show initiative working as part of a strong team. Strong communication, good time keeping, organisational skills and the ability to respect the confidentiality of the residents is essential. Candidates must have good personal hygiene and be committed and dedicated to producing high levels of care.

Hours of Work: 7am-2pm – AM Shift, 2pm-9pm – PM Shift , 9pm-8am – Night Shift .
Please note that you will be required to work alternate or some weekends.

Salary / Wage: £7.90ph

Staff Nurse

Main Responsibilities:

*Supervise and perform Medication Rounds
*Medication audits
*Perform pre admissions assessments
*Lead care team to provide excellent care
*Write, review care plans and keep up to date
*Leasing with External agencies such as GP’s, Physio Therapists, Mental Health Team
*Manage stocks of supplies
*Ensure storage and disposal of medication is carried out according to policy
*Report any issues that arose during each shift
*Maintain continuing education and licensing requirements
*Direct or supervise less experienced nursing staff
*Consult and coordinate with other healthcare team members
*Carry out risk assessment
*Identify care planning needs

Hours of Work: 8:00am – 20:00pm
Salary / Wage: £14 – 16ph depending on your experience

* To coordinate with the Home Manager.
* Must ensure safety at all times.

* CQC reporting.
* Create a happy environment within the home, be positive and ensure everyone has fun!

Hours and Salary:

35 Hours a week, negotiable salary, depending on experience.
