Accommodation & Facilities
The Cottage's current accommodation consists of 53 beds. Of these 7 are shared rooms, one of which is en-suite; and 39 are single rooms, of which 25 are en-suite. Residents have the choice of single en-suite bedrooms, single rooms and double rooms. All bedrooms in the home are fully furnished with fitted wardrobes, vanity units, TV & telephone points, central heating & picturesque views of the surrounding grounds.
However, residents are welcome to bring their personal possessions to make themselves feel at home.
The Home is fully equipped with a nurse call system, special Parker baths, special beds with pressure relieving mattresses, hoists and disabled toilet facilities. There is a full range of fire protection and early warning systems as recommended by the Fire Regulations
Meal times
As part of our personal services all tastes are catered for, with an emphasis
on fresh food and good home cooking. Where necessary special diets are
catered for. Catering is under the personal supervision of the proprietor
and is of the highest standards regarding ingredients, quality and choice.
8.00am Breakfast is served & can be taken either in the residents' bedroom or in the dining room
12.00pm Lunch is served
4.00pm Tea is served
7.00pm Supper is served
Hot and cold drinks are available throughout the day and night.
Visiting
There are no visiting times as such and you are welcome to visit whenever
you wish. However early mornings, lunchtime & late evenings are busy
times when residents are either getting up or going to bed.

Amongst our dedicated staffing team two qualified occupational therapists
are employed who ensure & oversea activities on a daily basis.
entertainment is provided for the residents in the form of professional performers
and musicians who entertain in the Home. Additionally, a summer fete and
Christmas partys are held annually, to which friends and relatives are always
welcome.
