Our aim is to enable residents to enjoy an independent, dignified lifestyle
in a warm, comfortable and homely atmosphere.
The Cottage Aims To Provide
'The Cottage' aims to provide: The highest possible standard of care
for each patient at all times. A standard of residential nursing care
which is second to none in the county.
A relaxed happy atmosphere welcoming to all who enter the Home. Dignified respectful care with full support from all staff.
Long Term Care
We care for people with dementia & other physical problems from 50 years old and above. To enable the home to cope with individual circumstances necessitating care, prospective patients will be assesed either in their own home, in hospital or by special visits to "The Cottage".
Short-Term Care
'The Cottage' is staffed by a team of qualified first and second level nurses, who offer twenty four hour nursing care, and where required assist with bathing, dressing and medication. There are always two qualified nurses on duty during the day & one at night.
Accommodation & Facilities
The Cottage's current accommodation consists of 53 beds. Of these 7 are shared rooms, one of which is en-suite; and 39 are single rooms, of which 25 are en-suite. read more80 High Street
